Ärteråsen summer farm

The summer farm on the hill above the village of Näset in Ore. The village animals grazed here every summer from the 1400s until 1954.

Every sign on the farm has a number and a QR code. Scan the code with your phone camera to read about the place in your language. The pages are saved on your phone after your first visit, so you can read them even where the signal is weak.

The farm is looked after by Ärteråsens Kulturförening, a local heritage association, together with the owners of the houses. In summer there is a café. There is no electricity on the farm, so payment is by cash or Swish only.
